Earth Science Exhibit Design and Development
Geoscientists own the best stories in all of the sciences: Deep Time, Evolution, volcanology, climate change, seismology, microanalysis and plate tectonics. Mining and its history underpins all of our economic development. Geochemical analysis has marvelous instruments and chapters in all these stories. Despite the incredible potential offered by this ownership, earth science exhibit design and development stagnated in the 19th Century with exhibits of minerals.
Saxigenus was founded to tell these stories using modern techniques of museum exhibit design and development. There is exciting potential for a new wave of earth science exhibits to entertain, and to educate, and to inspire the next generation of earth scientists.
